"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

We Love Parks!

Well, we were lucky enough to spend time with Dave's mom last week. To name a few activities...she babysat a couples times (while I bought McKenna's blessing dress and then Dave and I went to dinner), she took us to Costco (yum...frozen yogurt), and we took her to our favorite park out here. Here are some pictures of our time at the park.

This is our favorite park because of this cool swing. It usually has about eight swings on it. I think they took them down for the winter. But with several adults pushing you can really get this thing spinning fast. Dave wants one for our future backyard...yeah right! :)
He's a cutie isn't he, folks!?

Hey, I know that park!!! It is about 2 seconds from my SIL and BIL's.....there is a HILARIOUS picture of my SIL getting run over by Aurora when she fell down and I couldn't stop it fast enough. (Oh yes, word of caution, never wear flip flops while pushing that thing!)

I want to go to that park when I visit you! Looks like a ton of fun. Although, it looks like it's supposed to walk horses, not entertain kids.

My grandmas sister had a swing like this, only on a little smaller scale, I think there were four swing on it, so it is possible, the dream is still alive!

To make a small correction, the swing usually has 6 swings attached not 8, this is to allow proper balance on all sides since there are 12 beams where swings could possibly be connected. Also, the reason for the decrease in swing number isn't due to the weather, it's due to a trauma incident there over Christmas time where I think some kid got killed or something.
