"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Go Lions and Mustangs!

There is just one week left of Fall soccer for my boys. I better blog about it before it's over. This is the first time the boys played for Spanish Fork. They were ecstatic when they saw that this league uses goalies. They've each had their turn in that position and it was like a dream come true. This is the first year that Taylor has played. For the first 4 games the coach told him to play defense and to "stand by me". Taylor took this instruction literally and followed his coach all over the field like a shadow. Funny.
Derek's team has a lot of players on the field at all times, so he really hasn't had much of a chance to touch the ball. However, he is great at defense and nothing gets past him!

Soccer is fun to watch when they are this age, however, it will be nice to have our nights back again.

I hear ya' about getting your nights back. We're just into our second week of the season here, so we've got a few more to go.

I am glad you are back in the blogging world again after all your trips! I look forward to your long list of future blog titles you have on your right sidebar.

What fun you're having with the kids in soccer! I love the last picture of Taylor grinning on the sideline. Too cute.
