"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Some of Us Are Part Irish

It's amazing how dependant I am on food coloring in order to make a holiday. This time it was green and blue for St. Patrick's day. I didn't get a picture of the boys before they left for school, but here's one of McKenna with her green milk and green pancakes.
That evening I made a scavenger hunt for the kids. The last clue lead to a pot of treats. For dinner, it was breakfast again! I made green waffles, green eggs, and sausage. I sure hope food coloring doesn't cause cancer. :)

It's red you need to worry about, so you're good with the green/blue. I'm also noticing a trend with holidays - trails to treasure and themed food. So, what did ya' all do for Groundhog's Day?

I'm so glad you updated! I was worried the kids were growing up without me even being able to see it. And, uh.... there's nothing appetizing about the green eggs. (sorry!) Especially with syrup on them like you guys love. Miss you! Love Allie
