Christmas Traditions
Our family is growing older and family traditions are becoming necessary. I am not too creative in thinking of new things to do. I'd love to hear what traditions you had growing up or are currently starting now! Please post your ideas as a comment for this post. I'm hoping to get some great tradition ideas from all of you! Thank you and Merry Christmas!

It's our first year we're staying in Philly so I've been thinking the same thing! I know I want to start giving Alexa an ornament every year so when she's 18 and moves out (DOWN THE LOOOOOOONG ROAD...) she'll have a collection already, or at least 18!
Also a Christmas book would be fun too and have a night where the whole family sleeps under the tree and drinks hot chocolate and reads stories all night. (This one I just heard about)
There's doing the 12 days of Christmas for somone who is lonely, or going caroling.
And on CHristmas eve after we act out the nativity, my family would get in PJ's and go get McDonalds ice cream and drive around looking at Christmas lights
Okay, sorry about the novel!
Im sure you guys ahve even more than you know, some traditions just sneak up on you as you go...the ones that stick arent planned but are spontanious. So just let your heart decide.
Hi Dave and Natalie,
Thanks for your Christmas card and keeping us up to date on your gorgeous family. The boys are too cute. I get my boys a book that we read on Christmas eve, and an ornament that relates to the book. For example, for "The Polar Express", they both got a reindeer bell ornament. We also make sure to not only put out cookies for Santa, but some dog food up on the roof for the reindeer!
