"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

An Insider View

I posted the exterior of my parents' addition in a previous post. This time I have pictures of the "current" state of the interior. I'm sure it looks somewhat different now, but as of last Saturday, this was the progress. It is all sheetrocked, and maybe taped and mudded now. The stucco dudes were also there on Saturday working on the outside. It's looking so good!
There was a bay window and exterior wall previously. You can see where the addition starts as there is plastic on the ceiling.
Derek in his helper-dude attire.
These french doors lead out onto the extended patio. The boys LOVED helping Daddy and Grandpa screw in the sheetrock. Boys and their power tools, huh?

Grandpa and Taylor working together. Thank you Grandpa for all your patience! Hey, he's the one that asked the little guys if they wanted to help. :)
