"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

A Pet Cobra??

I just thought this was sweet. Last night, after hearing that we got the house, Derek drew this picture. It's our family playing in the backyard. Derek is on top of the slide, Dave and "T dog" (couldn't spell Taylor) are in the pool (apparently we will own one), and McKenna and I are on the swings. He wrote "ha" next to McKenna because "she is laughing". In the front yard is our pet "cobra snake" that we will "train to be nice". How cute that this is how he expressed his excitement.

Yikes!!! I sure hope that you can find a more suitable pet than a cobra--like maybe a fish?!?!?

Yeah, cobra snake? I won't be visiting.

:o)

Oh, it is definitely decided that there will be NO pets in our household. A fish is even questionable. :)
