"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Fourth of July (Part 2)

After the parade we drove up to my parents' house and met up with more family! My sister, Laurel and her family were in town from Colorado, my brother Jeff, and sister, Camille and her family came over as well. The kids (and Dave) swam in the little pool, we had a yummy BBQ, and then went to the Davis High fireworks. I really don't have pictures of these activities. I'm hoping to get some from my brother, but here's the best of what I took.

McKenna playing with uncle Jeff.
I loved little McKenna's outfit. I'm still having fun playing dress up with her. :)
(Don't worry Mom. She doesn't pick flowers...she just pokes them.)
Aunt Traci and Joel at the fireworks.
I've decided that glowsticks are the greatest things to buy for fireworks. Not only do the kids LOVE them, but their glow also helps in keeping track of the kids.
Another great traditional 4th of July! Now what? :(

FUN!! Jeff cut his hair?!! I love the family picture... Natalie, how do you manage to stay looking EXACTLY the same!!! (and not to embarrass you, but I was typing on your facebook wall the other day and Steve walked down and glanced over at the computer. He says, "WHOA! Who's that?!" And had to come over and see :) Maybe this isn't a compliment to you :) but I thought it was.... he usually checks out only cute girls :), but anyway.... I'm still jealous of your cuteness)
I totally thought you had said that glow sticks were NOT the greatest things to buy because you can keep track of the kids.... that kind of rang more true for me than the way you actually wrote it :) LOL, jk. Okay, long comment.... sorry :) cute pictures!!!
