"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Happy Birthday Taylor!

So Dave was out of town until Friday night and Taylor's birthday was last week. We decided to honor Taylor's birthday on Saturday so that Dave could be there. I felt horrible all of his actual birthday. I even had to filter any phone calls to him on his day, so family wouldn't blow my cover. Derek even said on Taylor's birthday, "I wish it was Taylor's birthday right now". I laughed so hard. So here are some pictures of Taylor's "birthday".
Taylor turned 3 years old.

Taylor's cousins, Marie, Katherine, and Elizabeth, were visiting Grandma Eddington as well, so we put together a little swim party and hot dog picnic.
Here's the "Nemo" cake that I made. I personally think it looks like a basketball with a fin, but Taylor knew what it was, so that's all that matters, right?
I thought Taylor might be a little sad to cut into Nemo, but he quickly asked to eat the eyeball. Typical boy.
Taylor was blessed by his Grandparents, cousins, and Aunts and Uncles. Thank you for the fun gifts and kind phone calls. He had a great birthday!

Yes, but did he get any fabric softener dryer sheets for his birthday?

You made me so jealous to be in Utah with the beautiful summer days.
Picnics are a fantasy here in hot muggy mosquito infested Texas!!! How I long to be in the stadium terrace swimming pool all day!! I didnt know how good we had it!
