"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Man Vs Wild

There we were, crickey, all alone on the trecherous mountain known as "Y" top volcano...just me, and two of me best mates, Derek and Taylor. We rose through the thicket as a light drizzle came pouring down.

Once on top of the "Y" the boys were a little nervous at the steepness, but loved the view of the valley.

We snacked on granola bars and filled our warm bellies with the cool liquor that we like to call, "water."

As we decended upon the face of the "Y" symbol, Derek's fear peaked and tears of no not joy, but rather terror bellowed out of his lacrimal glands. We made it to the end of our round trip hike with the boys walking the whole way themselves. It took us 40 minutes to go up and 20 minutes to come down. We avoided anyone passing us on the return leg...Watch out Bear Grylls we have a new TV troupe to compete with you!

What the? So the music is new (and unexpected when you're used to silence). Great, now I can't check your blog at midnight without waking up the house!
