Years ago when Derek was an infant, he would hold his hand in front of his face, rotate and stare at it for minutes until something else caught his attention. His uncle Doug used to say that Derek was thinking "Someday this hand will rule the world!". Here's a picture of Derek in action.

Yes. They did. Yes, it is an indicator of superior intelligence. Yes, I still do stare at my hand while lying on the floor with a cute headband and a fufu purple dre...hey, who gets to read this stuff anyway? G. Judy
baby toys are a waste of money- cool though! My kids have never done that to my knowledge, but now thanks to you I will notice it if they do :)
