"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Dave Cracks Me Up

There was a great sale on cereal last week. Here is what happens when you buy too much, there's not enough room in the pantry, and when you add a very creative husband to the mix.
A cereal fort!! McKenna LOVED it. What a funny Daddy.

So the other night Dave needed to eat sugar after I had gone to bed. Apparently he was shocked at what he found. And here's what I found on the table the next morning...
The note says "Natalie, We need to talk...I'm worried about you...I think you have a Reese's addiction...Not to eating Reese's, but to collecting them! We can get you the help you need. Love, Dave".

In my defense, the miniature cups were a great deal after Halloween! How could I pass it up!? AND...Dave bought me the fun size Butter Cups for Christmas. I am not at fault for that one!

That was one of the things that drew me to Dave when we first met. He has always been so full of life and a great person to be around. Things haven't changed much...he still cracks me up...daily!

I could use a cereal fort, right about now. Hey, if we combine our resources maybe Dave could build a cereal castle.

Im withDave on this one, if you still have them from halloween you maybe need to get an addiction to eating them instead. If those were in my house, well lets just say they wouldnt be in my house anymore!!!

That post cracked me up! I have the same problem with candy. Honestly, I forget we have it. The boys still have 75% of their Halloween candy. :)And where did your baby go? :) Where has the time gone?

I can stay away from candy, but don't leave me home alone with any kind of baked good.

Ohmygoodness I'm still laughing out loud!! I love this, and the cereal fort is the best idea I've seen yet! We one time bought like 15 boxes of OH'S (our favorite) just because they were like $1.33 a box, and they're usually too expensive to buy, I wish we were as creative as Dave to do this with them! :)

And the Reese's is HILARIOUS!! You can always send some our way if you're running out of room for those babies! Mmmmmmmm

Or consider writing a book about different ways to eat a Reese's! LOL

So cute! Don't you just love those fun little notes husbands leave. I absolutely LOVE them!! Dar leaves them for me in random places, and they always crack me up. Reading Dave's totally made me laugh!

What cracked me up the most about this post was the PAPER that Dave left the note on! That's the same paper he used to make you paper flowers for Mother's Day! Dave really likes that memo cube. And I know it's a memo cube because I gave it to you... it's a FranklinCovey clearance sale special, and I have one too! Except, I don't get flowers or funny notes from MY memo cube!

Wow, you are good, Laurel! Yes, that notepad will never go away!! I've had it longer than Dave and it's still inches high.

Tell me if you found a therapist that can help with 40 bags of chocolate chips in the freezer I got on the best sale ever. . .but it happens to be the year the nursing baby doesn't do chocolate. ha ha ha. Do people give you wierd looks when you buy that much cereal?

Glad that Dave still has it in him and a wife who loves it!!
