"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Dear Water Guys,

We are without water today until 2:00 and...Derek decided today would be a good day to stay home "pukey" sick. Nice. So far so good, but we still have hours to go. And I discovered that my tub drain doesn't hold water long. I filled the tub for added backup water and it's almost gone now. Hurry water guys! Bring back my water!

Ugh! I'm so sorry!! There's nothing worse than being without water. Trust me, I know from experience on my mission. We rarely had H20 OR electricity and even with the heat there (for fans) I'd sooner have water. I didn't live in one single place that had running water and it was a pain!
Good luck!

Hmm. Was this his usual "morning sickness" or something else? I actually thought of that when I heard your water was being shut off, but I didn't want to encourage puke-a-phobe thoughts or jinx you. I hope he's better.

Yes, it was his quirky "morning sickness". It never spreads to anyone else and gone by noon. That's funny that your thought came true!

oh I swear it always happens that way! I ran errands to avoid it all together...It did make me realize how necessary water is and how I clearly do not have enough for my food storage! :D
