Another Milestone
I have been taking baby steps toward running errands with three kids on my own. Tuesday was the first time in public with them...okay so it was just a trip to the post office, but I did have to wait 30 minutes in line. Everything went well, the boys behaved and McKenna slept. So I thought I would try my luck again today, but this time we went grocery shopping!! Yikes! I've always tried to picture how that could even happen with three kids. By the time the shopping cart is loaded with the kids where could the groceries possibly go?! Thank heavens for those little fire truck shopping carts. The boys took the seats in the truck below and McKenna sat in her car seat in the top. We made it in and out in 30 minutes and the boys stayed in the cart the whole time! (Okay, so I had to threaten them a few times that I would take away their "kid yogurt".) I think I'm developing a false sense of security though. I'm sure one of these times all heck will break loose! I'll just be thankful until then. :)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! :) Congratulations!!
I just had to laugh. I can't even imagine having to deal with more than one at a time. I am telling you I think that you are amazing. I think I would be locked up in my house and really scared. I get terrified when I go out with one and she freaks out. Half the time I just want to walk away and pretend that I don't know her. LOL. I would never do it but it is always in the back of my mind. You really rock!!!!!
I AM SO IMPRESSED!!! I still find it a chore just taking MY ONE CHILD LEXI to the store!(and she doesn't even move yet! :) I'm glad it went so great for you...I'm also trying to picture you pushing all the weight around each corner (firetruck cart, kids, groceries, baby carrier)YOU ARE AMAZING NAT!!
Well, thank goodness that my kids only come one at a time. I was nervous and thought it took so much work to take one out as well. But hey, we got hungry, so it had to be done! :) I'm not amazing...I'm just a mother of three. :)
Yeah Natalie, I remember being so scared the first time I ventured out with all three. But now its old hat. Going out with just two makes me feel naked.
