"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Thank You Mom!!

My mom came to help us out on Wednesday and left yesterday. Here's a picture of her and McKenna all dolled up with her first headband! She was such a big help and kept me from stressing about three kids.

I couldn't have made it without her yesterday!! I was peacefully feeding McKenna when Taylor says "I don't feel good". I figured he was talking about the sore throat he's been dealing with, but no. After getting a drink, he returned to my side and threw up all down our new recliner and right next to McKenna's head!! I got some of his "gift" on my hand and therefore, was helpless until my mom took the baby. She carried Taylor to the kitchen and well...to spare the details...we had quite the mess to clean up. McKenna was crying in her seat, we were trying to clean up the floor, and Taylor was acting like he was going to pass out. I think it was my worst nightmare. Taylor perked up after a nap, but had another episode later that night. Anyway, I know, too many details, but I was so stressed all day that it would spread to the rest of the family. We all seem to be fine this morning, but could still use your prayers!! :) Thank you Mom for saving me!
Here's a picture of poor little Taylor. Yes...he's on the kitchen floor. That was his choice.

I am so sorry that you have had such a sick little boy. My prayers will be with you and your family. I hope that everything has passed and that no one else gets sick.

Oh, yeah, three is over the top for a while, but I promise, you will get used to it. I was scared to leave the house with three kids for the longest time, but then we started getting hungry! I like the puke bucket, ours are out this weekend as well. But the only vomit was on my mom's floor. YEAH for moms!! The last flu episode, Kevin was out of town, and all four of us were sick. I actually had to use the puke bowl because I was nursing Oliver and knew I would never make it. I pulled the extra queen size mattress out of Oliver's room and had the girls sleep on it in the kitchen, it wasn't their choice it was mine, I was afraid to clean vomit from carpet. I'm sorry you are getting initiated so quickly, but am glad your mom is there. Congrats on your sweetie!
