"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

Wait...It Is Fall?!

I was going to title this "One Last Summer Picnic", but then I realized...summer IS over! You would never guess it by the upper 80's we've been experiencing and it's October! My sister is all about getting the most out of the warm weather before the cold hits. She hates the winter more than anyone I know. So she called me yesterday and asked us to come to the park since the weather should turn cold this weekend.
We sat on a blanket and talked while Taylor and Landon played on the equipment. It was a lot of fun and I would say "hard to leave", but a school class took over the playground and we gladly made our escape.
Taylor was being silly and wouldn't let me take his picture. This is the best I got of him.
Cousin Landon
McKenna chatting with the girls.

**One week after this post it was snowing. Got to love Utah weather!

Enjoy that weather over there! We're at the "perfect temp" right now. Not too cold, but not too hot! I'm already dreading the snow! I like it for a week, and then I'm okay if it all melts away!!!

I can't believe Christmas is in 80 days!! Where do the weeks go?!? Thanks for the reminder!

And McKenna is beautiful and looks just like her mommy!!! MUAW!! The post with her in several hideouts is just adorable!!!! Lexi is almost walking, but still somehow finds a way to keep me on my toes with getting into EVERYTHING!! You would think I would have the house baby proofed by now, but I"m still learning--Everyday!--Thanks to Pres. Monson's talk today reminding us to enjoy the fingerprints and toys scattered everywhere, because one day it will be gone. Got me thinking--will it really be a sad day?! :) I know, it goes so fast, but I do question on if I"ll miss that part or not!?!? LOL

Sorry for the long comment! I should've made a post out of it!! :) Keep on posting your adorable family!!!

Really love the new pictures! Love the ones with the brown tops and the happy faces! They look like great Christmas presents. Hint, hint. Had to go back and play the picture-dubbed videos again. They are still funny and actually, kind of eerie. Love and hugs, grandma Judy

Whoever said Landon and Taylor could grow up! They look like such big boys--at least McKenna is still a baby!

I sympathize with your sister...I dread winter coming as well. Maybe just because I know it will last at least 4 months!
