"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly." - Pres. Thomas Monson

A Fun Fall FHE

As soon as the leaves turned colors we drove up a nearby canyon to take a look. We found a fun grass area with tables and swings...we're just hoping that it wasn't private property. :) We had a fun little picnic and explored together.
(I decided to wear a hat that day and it spread to the boys. Maybe this post should be titled "A Fun Hat FHE".)

Poor Derek got a little too close to the river and mistook the swampy grass for solid ground. It kind of put a damper on his fun.

What fun! I remember when we would save dry, crusty bread in bags under the sink...then off to the duck pond to feed the ducks. That was one of my favorite things to do with you kids when you were all at home. Sob, sob! Where did everyone go? Sob, again! But now I have such cute grandchildren! We are blessed!
